How it works and what to expect...

Quick lowdown on how this newsletter will work.

I know what you're thinking—another newsletter? Your inbox is probably already packed, or maybe you're the type who only lets in what really matters.

Either way, here’s why Genre Safari deserves a spot.

I’m Dan, a lifelong music lover. It started in the backseat of my dad’s car during endless road trips in the ’90s. He’d pop in cassette tapes—Indie rock, death metal, ’80s classics, hip-hop. He was the ultimate DJ, and I had the best playlist.

Some tracks left me in awe, others made me happy, sad, or even confused. And yeah, a few got me dancing. It was all new to me, even the mainstream stuff. That feeling of discovery was magic.

Now, even with a pretty broad music palette, I still crave that thrill of finding something fresh. That’s why twice a week, I dig deep into the most obscure genres, unearth hidden gems, and share three standout tracks from each one.

No fluff or bullshit. Just straight to the point.

Let’s rekindle your music love affair!

Here’s a small sample of what to expect in the newsletter!
